We have made two important updates to the Trust Center:
- The Trust Center is now split into two sections: Trust Center and User Management
- New right-to-be-forgotten endpoint
Trust Center and User Management
User Management is now where you manage which users have access to which parts of your Raptor solution – exactly how you used to utilize the Trust Center before.
Today, the Trust Center is where you will find the new right-to-be-forgotten input field designed to simplify GDPR compliance. For an automated deletion process, you can use the right–to-be-forgotten endpoint instead.
Right-to-be-forgotten endpoint
One of the most important aspects of GDPR is the right to be forgotten.
When a user asks to be deleted, it is your responsibility that all customer data from all touchpoints are fully removed. But with data spread across several systems, this can be a complicated responsibility to fulfill.
Luckily, it’s now made much simpler with the right-to-be-forgotten endpoint in the Trust Center.
Here, you can enter any user identifier, and all data associated with that user (cookies, CDP data etc.) is all removed with one click.
In the Single Customer View, you can check when a customer has in fact been deleted. By looking up a deleted customer, you should get no results after the 14-day deletion period.
If you want to know how it’s done in practice, here’s a more detailed guide to user deletion.
These updates will be live and ready to use starting Thursday January 23rd.
If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to Product Owner Mathias Kolind on [email protected] or your usual Raptor representative.
